This tedious job and takes longer if you are not familiar with electric or test units. You have tow choices may be more but the two are the fastest way. The use of multimeter or unit called “Generator and Amplifier Probe Circuit Finder“ can be found on amazon or eBay the reason I recommend the second choice is very easy to use and pin down exactly the open circuit in the harness or single wires. To use connect the small unit to any wire at the top of the harness then run over the harness with the amp that look like “Gu.” and it will stop at the cut in the wire or the ringing will be very weak.
The multimeter do similar way but u have to check one wire at a time and that longer. Good luck and hope this gives you an idea or option to carryon with your repairs. God bless

SOURCE: no power to fuel pump. I have power up to the circuit opening relay.

I am not positive how the electronics are routed on a later model truck but I had this same problem on my 89' with a 22re. It turned out that the oil pressure sending unit was in the fuel pump circuit so as to not allow the engine to start with no oil pressure. I changed my sending unit and the truck fired right off. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: 1992 4Runner circuit opener relay causing rich Idle

It may be that the O2 sensor is faulty or contaminated. Another possibility is that after running rich for some time, the catalytic converter is slagged and no longer working properly. Have you been able to get any diagnostic codes from the car's computer? Is the check engine light on?

SOURCE: 1992 Toyota Camry won't crank

Check the ground cable going from the battery to
alternator, then to chassis. Make sure there is no
rust at the chassis ground wire terminal, and that it
is very tight. The fusible link will be off the alternator
red power cable, usually, but not 100% on that car.
Good luck.

SOURCE: squealing noise from fan belt for 1992 toyota pickup

Check the belt tension, you should not be able to move it more than about a half inch, should be able to twist it but not all the way over... If it is tight, is it cracked underneath where it rides against the pulley? If not and it is in good shape, you have other issues like a bad alternator, bad tension pulley, bad water pump, bad power steering pump, bad A/C unit... I would start by taking the belt off and pushing, pulling and rotating all of these items by hand to see if you find any issues.. Generally, if it is the water pump, you will see seepage coming from it but not always. It is pretty rare that it would be the power steering pump because you should feel that in your steering but it is possible that you would not, your alternator should have some movement if bad but it is possible that it doesnt-this can be checked at Advanced Auto for free.. Remove it and take it to them.

Where is the fuel pump relay on 1992 Toyota 4 runner

engine bay cluster

if fuel relay is ok ...could be this relay
Circuit Opening Relay
Circuit opening relay controls fuel pump circuit. The Engine Control Module (ECM) receives an input signal at STA terminal when engine is cranking. Starter signal is also applied to terminal STA of circuit opening relay.
Starter signal energizes circuit opening relay during cranking. Circuit opening relay then provides voltage to fuel pump or fuel pump relay.
Fuel pump switch in airflow meter provides ground for circuit opening relay.

I have a 1992 toyota picku 3.0L V6 and the tail light fuse keeps blowing, any ideas where the grounding might be at?

Man I feel your pain. I'd start under the dash up near the brake pedal. Use a meter against the swtich and check the OHM meter. Use it like grounding guage but make sure you don't plug in the fuse while checking on the resistance. You'll need to push in the brake pedal a little to get the switch to close. The wires from that either go directly back to the lights or they go to a relay in the fuse box which then turns on the lights. The difference is the amount of amperage your rear lights take. If the brake switch is operating properly I'd try and find that relay. Unplug that relay and check each leg of the lights by unplugging a brake light test the circuit. By removing the relay you kind of separate the circuits. That way you can test each leg to see which one if showing a lack of resistance and ethat will tell you which leg is the culprit. Next it's just following that line to see what is shorted.

1992 toyota 22re fluids out and puts out a lot of fume out the exhast

Floods out.Multiple causes. How does it run when warmed up?Still stink?
Check injectors: Run the engine up to 3,000 RPM and turn off the key, while flooring the gas pedal. If engine still runs, the injector(s) are stuck open.
Also check for a vacuum leak-that will cause the engine to run very rich.
Also may be an open circuit in the temp sensor(computer side). The engine may think it's very cold and richen up the mixture.

No power to fuel pump, checked from circuit opening relay to efi relay power good to ther. where does it go next

from the relays it goes to the sending unit, i am about 80 percent sure, i haven't done a toyota pickup pump in a while, there could be a corroded connection at the top of the sending unit itself or the harness to the actual pump is no good.

I only have power to one of my headlights. would it be the relay?

1987 Toyota Pickup does not use any relays in the headlamp system. If you have power to one headlamp and not the other, you have an open circuit (broken wire or bad connector) to the one that has no power.
