If the radio has not been changed in the past, then I am almost certain that your local Honda dealaship can help but as always they may charge you. There are auto centres that are equipt to change the radio code and they do charge.

SOURCE: 2005 Acura TL Radio/Nav code

Your navigation code and radio codes writed on stikers on glovebox. Just open your glovebox and look on left side of gloivebox, not inside but outside. Open glovebox and look on left side. On my 2005 Acura RL NAV and Radio codes is different but it both on glove box. Sometime you even need to remove your glovebox cover to see those codes.

The reset code for your radio is located in the glove compartment. There should be a small sticker on the inside of the compartment door, usually near the left side. The sticker has two sets of numbers printed on it. The number set with five digits is your reset code. Use the radio preset buttons to input the code. If done correctly, the radio should come on immediately and show the factory default presets.

Positive feedback is greatly appreciated.

God Bless and good luck.

Your vehicle's audio system may disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason.
To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code with the preset buttons.
Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from the five
digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.

You should have received a radio code card that lists your audio system's code and serial numbers. {glove box find}
It is best to store this card in a safe place at home. In addition, you should write the audio system's serial number in this owner's

manual.

If you lose the card, you must obtain the code number from your dealer.
To do this, you will need the audio system's serial number.

If your vehicle's battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio
fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens,
you will see ''ENTER CODE'' in the frequency display (on the screen on models with navigation system) the next time you turn on the

system.
Use the preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. The code is on the radio code card included in your owner's manual kit.
When it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.

If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the
five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have 10 tries to enter the correct code.
If you are unsuccessful in 10 attempts, you
must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.

The system will retain your AM and FM presets even if power is disconnected. {only on newer cars'

I removed my car battery for my honda crv 2006 model and the radio is not coming on.i pressed 1 and 6 the numbers that came up are u 1000 and l 8490,please what is the unlocking code?

The code is specific to your vehicle and your radio. Go to https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=%2Fprod%5Fhome%2Easp and sign your CRV up on the Honda Owner Link. There with the VIN# of your car and the serial # off the radio you can get the 5 digit radio code. Pressing 1 & 6 on the radio give you the serial #.

Changed battery of my 2002 acura mdx, need codes for radio nav

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio and nav. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.
