I am replacing a radiator on 2003 toyota corolla. Its previous owner had the wrong radiator and had to add the transmission lines to an extra coolant.

Im restoring original parts and the new radiator has connectors on the side for transmission lines, since the one i took off was ran to a separate coolant i am not for sure which line goes on the top connector on radiator and which one goes on the bottom which are on the side of the radiator

SOURCE: Transmission coolant line leaking on the transmission side.

Is the line before and after the connector steel? If you can cut the leaking section out w/ a hack saw, u can slip a section of gas line over the trans cooling line, and put a clamp on both ends, quick cheap fix that will last a long time.

When you attached them did you make sure the threads were not crossed? You should have been ableto attach them by hand then tighten with wrench. Just tighten enough to prevent leak (at pressure). If this fails try using teflon tape on the threads to create a better seal.

SOURCE: 91 nissan pickup radiator transmission lines do not connect on the new radiator that went from nipple to thread.

Assuming you have the RIGHT radiator, you can adapt from the nipples to a 3/8" hose fitting(brass preferably),and cut the lines to accept a hose and clamp type connection. (use good quality hose such as low pressure power steering or fuel hose.
Before I accepted this radiator, though, I'd take a look at another brand radiator or another one from a different store and be sure they gav

Will this fit 2003 Corolla 1.4cc NO AIRCONDITION

pls check whether the Radiator fan is running when the ignition is switched on. If so, it means the Engine coolant temperature sensor is out. Replace this. Then the AC will work. This is one of the reason.
Check the thermister, pressure switch, wiring harnes and the ecu. the relay etc.,

Which is the hose where does the transmission fluid to the radiator in 2000 toyota corolla the highest or the lowest (looking from Ariba to bottom)

Any large hoses that are one inch or more in diameter are (antifreeze) radiator coolant hoses. The transmission lines will be less than one half an inch and are located at the bottom or sides.

Toyota Corolla 2003 CE. Car started overheating, Pulled over and steam was coming from engine. Found out radiator seemed to be leaking. poured antifreeze into radiator and heard liquid splashing on ground...

You may need to "burp" the system and get the air out. When car has completely cooled, take radiator a off, start car, let it warm up (but not overheat) and see if level drops. Add coolant/water mix to top it off. Never run straight antifreeze. At most a 50/50 mix of distilled water and antifreeze.
Air can get trapped in areas of the system when its been drained. Just monitor that temp and don't risk damaging the engine by overheating.

How often should I change the radiator coolant in my '98 Corolla? It's been almost 15,000 miles now, and the antifreeze still looks like new.

breakdown happens and should be replaced as a general rule whenever you replace the transmission fluid. That should be 75000-100000 miles.

Coolant leak from radiator of toyota corrolla

Instead of having it replaced, you may be able to find a shop that will braze that area for you, which is an often-performed repair procedure on radiators.

At 34,000 miles, the coolant doesn't have to be replaced, but it won't hurt.

If it's dripping slowly when parked, it's dripping much faster when it's running. The coolant system is under pressure when the engine is running and up to operating temp, and that is probably causing coolant to spray out of that hole. You can check this by leaving the engine running and looking in the approximate location of the leak you found.

Continue to check and replace coolant/water as necessary until you get the problem properly assessed and repaired.

I have a Toyota 1988 4 cyl. 1800 engine . It gets really hot

Check anti-freeze level first. If anti-freeze level is fine check the thermostat, most likely it's sticking and not allowing the fluid to cycle out of the engine and into the radiator to cool off. After replacing thermostat if problem still presist it could be a blocked coolant passage in engine or in cylinder head. U said it's been completely rebuilt, I have seen were the person that rebuilt it installed the wrong head gaskets and that could be blocking the coolant passage as well. Mind you, a blocked coolant passage is the worse case scenario. I took for granted that you already checked to see if the fan is working if it's an electric fan.

Find and replace thermostat 2003 corolla--thank you !

Follow the lower radiator hose to the engine. Most Toyota's along this year model have the thermostat located in the engine, where the lower radiator hose connects to the engine. Changing the thermostat is pretty straight forward. Refilling is a little trickier. Search the top of the engine and find the bleeder screw for the cooling system. Open this bleeder screw, usually a 10mm, or 12mm socket will fit, and fill the cooling system with the recommended coolant. Pay attention to your mixing ratio as well.
