there are two dip sticks.I would look for the one that is the furthers towards the the back by the firewall.it should have a loop also for your finger to go into.If its a stick shift,then i would check underneath the car.look for a filler plug on the side of the transmission.thank you.

For this 1998 chevy cavaleir , the heater blower relay is located in the engine compartment inside the fuse/relay compartment, this box is located on the driverside near fender, i will enclose a picture of its location and also the location of each relay and fuse, you will see the heater relay. good day. hope this helps you.

DONT HAVE ONE WHERE DIP STICK USE TO BE IS A RED VENT FILL CAP THATS WHERE YOU POUR TRANSMISSION FLUID. BUT THE TRANSMISSION WAS MADE FOR DEALERSHIP TO CHECK.THEY HAVE TO RAISE VECHICLE LEVEL AND ON THE TRANSAXLE HOUSING THERE IS A CHECK PLUG ITS LOCATION ITS ABOVE THE OIL PAN DRAIN PLUG.WITH VECHICLE RUNNING UP IN AIR LEVEL ON THE LIFT.THE CHECK PLUG IS REMOVED IF NO FLUID COMES OUT CHECK PLUG HOLE ADD PINT DONT OVERFILL.IF FLUID POUR TOO MUCH FLUID IN TRANSMISSION IF SLOW DRIP FLUID LEVEL CORRECT.

It is mounted on the opposite side of where the throttle cable attaches on the throttle body.

it should be around close to your battery or the alternator if not then it is by your starter depending on its position determines the difficulty of replacement! good luck!

opel vectra this vehicle is called here in europe ,auto transmission ??havent a clue but i wouldnt mind betting its inside the gearbox ,looked on an astra i have for spares in the garden and nothing obvious on outside as i think this is the same gearbox used,anyway if your near alicante spain i have a spare box on this car just pick it up .
