Will not turn over at all ? Do the instrument cluster lights come on when turning key forward ?
Could it be your key at fault
I've tried both keys, no success.

DASH LIGHTS ON 850 VOLVOS SOMETIMES THEY DONT MAKE A GOOD CONTCACT I REPLACED MY ISTRUMENT CLUSTER AND HAD TO TKE IT OUT 4 TIMES AND PUT ELECTRICAL GREASE ON BULBS AND CHECK THE DIMMER SWITCH IS ALL THE WAY TO THE RIGHT OR THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH PLUG

REMOVE IOD (IGNTIION OFF DRAW)FUSE FROM FUSE BLOCK FOR 1-2 MINUTES,THEN REINSTALL..THIS DOT IS IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM..THIS SHOULD RESET SYSTEM..TRY STARTING VEHICLE..IF NOT,TRY ANOTHER IGNITION KEY AFTER RESETTING AGAIN..I HOPE THIS HELPS
