I drove my brother's 1995 Cadillac Seville SLS. He told me it stalls out time to time but for me it stalled out twice in a span of less than few hours. The second time it stalled out, I couldn't restart it (would crank but wouldn't catch) and had to be towed. After being towed and being left alone for couple of hours, it started right up. Any suggestions?
It sounds like it may be time for a new fuel filter, try replacing the fuel filter first. The filter has a life of 30,000 miles or one year, if it has not been changed, good chance that it's the fuel filter. Take not that a dirty fuel filter will make your fuel pump run hotter and will shorten the life of the fuel pump which is the more costly repair of the two. Good luck and keep me posted, Be glad to help you get your car running 100% again.
