I bought a ram truck with a made key it has locked computer down I have a locksmith coming but need to know how to unlock computer

The computer is not happy with the motor change. There is probably a security code system that needs to be reset. It may be as simple as the radio security code which dealer may have by vin number. But more likely the internal computer needs a reset, most likely also by dealer.

this might have an anti-theft radio that when the battery power is taken away the radio goes into lockout mode. there is a code that needs to be programed to get it to work. check your owners manual it maybe in there or go to the dealer. you can try a radio shop they maybe able to help.

replacing the battery is the same as having the radio stolen to the security in the radio so now you will need the security code for the radio before it will turn on again.

I have a 2005 Dodge Sprinter 2500. Battery exploded when I turned the ignition on. New Battery got installed but when I turned on the radio a signal appeared CODE. What does this mean?

any time the battery is removed without a memory saver the radio gets locked-this is for security purposes-if you bought the vehicle brand new there should be a radio code card in with your owners manual-if not you will have to contact a dodge dealer to get the new radio code or to get it reset-if you have to go to dodge for the code i recommend writing it down in case it happens again

2004 Dodge Ram 1500, Infinity sound system. CD/AM/FM not working.

You most likely need a new radio. They go bad all the time in the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep. Don't know how many of them I have replaced.

Dodge Ram P0740 and PO304 codes just bought it.

the dealer needs to find out the codes and from the codes they should know what the problem is, and then should manage to sort the problems from there,

More info needed. Is it just a radio, a radio with a tape player/CD? What year is the truck? Is it the original radio? Most original radios have the amplifier built into the radio.
