On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

Step by step instructions follow with pictures.

Using a plastic trim tool, remove the aluminum piece on the door handle and the two bolts underneath. (T15 I believe.)
: Using same trim tool, remove the plastic trim behind door handle and remove screw using same T15 as before.
Step 3: Same trim tool again, remove the door panel, bottom to top and lift off of the window channel. Watch for the metal clips to fall. Some will. Two go on the door panel and two go on the door itself.

remove the door trim and you will see nuts inside the door skin that holds the handle assembly on.

1998 buick regal gs heat blows hot on passenger side and cold on the driver side.
Same problem on my 98 Regal GS; remove glove box, locate the blend door actuator, (black odd shaped box with metal "ring"). Remove the box and manually turn the blend door shaft it was attached to. If you get cold air, it's the actuator you removed. About 30-40 dollars.

Many of those mirrors have little Allen screws inside them to retain their position so check for a screw. Also make sure you didn't install the bracket upside down. Good luck.

JUST PUSH THE BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM OF MIRROR ON THE SIDE THAT ON, MAKES SURE ALSO THE THE DOOR SENSOR IS FUNCTIONAL ON THE SAME SIDE SINCE IT ALSO ACTS AS ENTRY LIGHT.
DOOR NEEDS TO BE CLOSED FOR THE LIGHT TO TURN OFF, IT MAY TAKE A MINUE TO DO SO.

I have a buick regal 1996, and my headlights are automatic but now they doesnt work like that and i have to switch the park lights on and off every time i use it... i doble check the fuses and they are ok,...
check the relays under the dash some place i think on the pasenger side behinde the glove box.

Blower motor resistor. Its a special resistor attached to the blower housing near the blower motor. one wire clip and 2 screws usually is all that holds it in place.

Brake lights
Bad ground RR tailamp ***'y,whether broken wire or corroded lamp socket. Start there as these can be tricky to trace. Look for the obvious first then seek a good electrical diagnostics tech.
