I've been trying to remove the camshaft sprocket bolt on a 1993 nissan maxima I can't get it off because the sprocket turns when i try to use a ratchet or breakerbar.
Air ratchet or wrap timing chain around gear and clamp with a vice grip the chain together to hold it still . Air tool is best if there is room to get to it .
You can fix the problem with the help of service and repair manual with a diagram so that you own fix the problem and you will get the manual from the given link http://toolsnyou.com/

SOURCE: how to remove a harmonic balancer bolt from a 98 nissan maxima
In the past I have had to use a 1 inch impact to brake that bolt loose. It is a monster and it is regular thread. If you dont have a big compressor and super impact I have held the engine a made a breaker bar and broke it loose that way and make sure to keep spraying it.

the forward clutch pack is worn or the fluid pressure is low, either scenario requires a trans overhaul to correct.

Check that the mating marks on the sprockets are aligned as shown

360°.

Remove the camshaft position sensor. Mark the position of the sensor before removal to help keep the ignition timing correct.

Hope this helps.
