Hi. I have a Peugeot 4007,2009 model with a engine 2.2l HDI. The problem is that, the car twitches when driving. The twitching is unregular, usually it comes more often when autumn starts. There has been some fault codes and sometimes the car set's it self to safe mode (rpm's restricted to max 2000). Fault code was concerning the airflow meter that was changed. Because this model is not so popular where I am living, the car services has not any idea, what could cause the problem. Any idea's or tips would be appreciated.

Have you physically cleaned the windows? Wipers won't take ice off and will sometimes break when used that way.
If you can't remove the ice, run the car with defrost on high heat until it melts before using the wipers.
The wipers continue to "twitch" you may have popped a gear apart or broken part of the apparatus. Let me know!

Throbbing from vascular origin
A vein can produce this sensation because of the increased blood flow to a particular area due to physical activity - this can happened when you jog in the morning or after bodybuilding exercise or any other physical activity. When somebody tackles you during a football game and traumatizes your leg, the swelling can push on the vessels and this can produce a throbbing sensation. A trauma can also produce an abnormal communication between an artery and vein - this is called AV fistula.
Usually throbbing from vascular origin is not a reason to worry. You may visit a general practitioner who will probably examine the blood flow and may even order a test to look at your vessels.
Rarely the cause of throbbing is aneurism which produces a wide pulsatile area - aneurisms are often treated surgically.

• It is useful to know that common conditions such as deep vein thrombosis, blood clots or peripheral artery disease usually do NOT present with throbbing sensation but usually present with pain and swelling.

Throbbing caused by muscle twitching
Turn off the lights, sit on a chair and use a direct light from a lamp and try to make the light beam horizontal so you can see the throbbing area clearly.
If you see tiny twitches you should know that your throbbing sensation is produced by your muscles.
Conditions causing muscle twitching
Although muscle twitches are often idiopathic or as a result of muscle hyperactivity or hyperexcitability because you had too much coffee or you had a heavy exercise earlier, muscle twitches can be a symptom of a serious medical conditions.
B12 deficiency. This is found especially in alcoholics or vegetarians. Muscle twitching is not an early symptom, usually B12 deficiency presents with anemia and decreased or altered sensation.
Multiple Sclerosis. Usually presents with pain behind one eye. Muscle twitching is a common symptom.
infection and Amyotophic Lateral Sclerosis also known to cause muscle twitches. It is advisable to see a neurologist for further evaluation, the neurologist is most likely to order MRI and blood test

it will be stamped on a flat surface of the engine , different makers use different positions, it will be below the head as its the engine block that is numbered just have to clean it off and have a good look around , usually on one of the sides , good searching, or contact Peugeot with the rest of the vehicle details

Check your fuse boxes, usually one under the hood and one under the steering wheel, might have just blown a fuze somewhere along the line.

have heating in my peugeot 406 hdi when car is ticking over but when i drive for few mins the heater goes cold

Sounds like the battery is weak which will cause the gauges to twitch.

1. Unplug, Check, and Replug the Accessories Relay located in the IPM-Relay and Fuse Box. This may be starting to fail. There should be an extra Spare Relay of the same size located within the IPM.
OR
2. There is a ground for this circuit that is starting to go bad (corrosion, oxidation and/or poor contact)
OR
3. There is a connection behind the Dash that is loose causing the flickering.
Start with #1 first.

The tork from the engine will make a car twitch as you say, especially if it is a high powered engine. But if you want to check the motor mounts get down so you can see them and have someone rev the engine and put it in gear. Excessive movement should be seen if the mount is broken. Use car not to get run over so chuck the wheels and secure the parking brake.

If your vehicle has one. it usually snaps or threads into the back of the speedo at the upper end, and attaches to a drive gear on the transmission at the lower end.

Injectors from the same ccm engine are most probably sounds same but to be on the safe side check not only the shape but code on the top of injector too. Because they are piezo effect injectors and set by the manufacture for a specific pressure for specific engine codes.
