I have a 2004 ford fiesta 2door, when I lock the car with the fob it will lock and unlock same time, when I unplug the central locking pin, I can lock and unlock with the key from the door.
Re: I have a 2004 ford fiesta 2door, when I lock the car...
It is probably unlocking because the brain doesn't think the doors/tailgate/bonnet is closed and therefore won't allow them to lock.
One such case I was involved with had a switch buried in the driver door catch which is supposed to be operated by the striker when the door was fully closed but many closings of a maladjusted and poorly lubricated door wore away the nylon coating from the striker resulting in the door striker failing to enter the catch far enough to operate the switch leaving the brain believing the door was open.

There is only one fuse that mentions 'Locking', but also refers to the General Electrical Module (GEM). If you change the fob battery, you need to reprogram it to the vehicle. Or you could open any Transit around you. Lots of help below including resetting..
