To unlock radio on 2001 honda civic ex
Radio buttons in honda civic 2020 usually provide users with "choose one among many options" operation. The radio buttons default to "automatic mutual exclusion". In a group of radio buttons, only one radio button can be checked at a time; if the user selects another button, the previously selected button is closed.
Try code 54456 to unlock the radio

SOURCE: unlock code for my 2006 Honda civic radio
I have an '06 Honda Civic. The most common places where the code is found is on the left side of the glove box, in the trunk somewhere along the gasket or underneath where the speakers are, under the fuse box panel, under the ashtray and sometimes under center console lid. I happen to find my in the left side of the glove compartment. The first five digits are the code and under that, you should see and 11 digit code which is your radio serial. So once you have the code if you haven't already, turn on the radio. It will ask you for the code and you punch it in using the number on the buttons you use to change your radio stations. As you punch in numbers "CODE" will start to fill in. Just like the asterisks used in passwords. If you punch it incorrectly, it will say "error 1" or something to that effect. Do not push anything else, just start over by punch in the first number of the code and then the rest. Be careful, if you attempt too many times, the radio will lock itself and you will need to leave the radio on for an hour for it to reset itself. When successful done, the radio will turn back on to the last station you were last on. Hope that helps.

The reset code for your radio is located in the glove compartment. There should be a small sticker on the inside of the compartment door, usually near the left side. The sticker has two sets of numbers printed on it. The number set with five digits is your reset code.
Positive feedback is greatly appreciated.
Good luck and God Bless.
