If there is not a second key that someone else can bring you, you need a locksmith.

Google for a locksmith in your city, or contact police who may have a way to open a locked car with a locksmith tool.

If you are a AAA auto service member, they can send a locksmith for free.

If an emergency, can try to break a window, which will have to be replaced at some expense.

Unlock child lock

On the Audi Q7, depending on country and options the child lock is either:

1. On the drivers armrest, near the window switches, there are 2 buttons with a little orange light and a picture of a little baby on them. Deselect both buttons to turn off the child locks.
2. Open the passenger doors, there is a small keyhole on the inside of the door above the latch, use your key and turn it 90 degrees to turn off the child lock.

Hope that helps

I have very small range for the remote control audi q7

An 09 plate Q7 should still be in warrenty as Audi offer a three year warrenty with a limit of 60,000 miles. If your vehicle is out of warrenty Audi are also known very well for good will providing the vehicle has been serviced at an Audi dealership. Try replacing the battery in the key as this may have an effect
