How to unlock suitcase i forgot the combination.the suitcase is made in China, brown leather

using a thin pointed shim, poke in next to one dial until you feel resistance, turn the dial until you feel the shim move. note the number. do the same thing for the other side of the same dial.

repeat for all three dials. then, you have the number 'line-up', and can move the dials together around until the latch opens when the dials are aligned to the right point in their mechanism housing.

Repair small cut in leather car seat

Much depends on the type of leather and how the seat is trimmed with it, where the cut is located and how long it is and the sort of appearance the finished repair will be required to have.

For an invisible repair it will be necessary to employ the services of a good auto-trimmer/upholsterer who will remove the cover and perhaps fit a new panel or perhaps sew from the back and apply reinforcing.

At the other end of the scale, if the leather is exceptionally soft using a very small mattress needle and a good deal of patience a workmanlike repair can be made without disturbing the cover, that while not exactly invisible will prevent the cut becoming worse. A careful application of shoe polish or dye or even using a felt pen can colour the exposed edges of the cut.

Fitting a leather gaiter on an x type jag

that is simple.

the shift knob is threaded on to the shift lever and you need to rotate it counterclockwise to remove. the gaiter is held in place with the trim ring that is attached by 4 clips in the corners. using a couple of popsicle sticks (or other thin, protected tool, so not to damage the wood trim, etc) you can get under the corner of the gaiter surround and gently pry upward. see illustration.

hope this helps

How to Clean Auto Leather

I use Griot's Garage leather care products and have been very pleased with the results. Thy have a leather care spray that will clean light dirt, but very dirty leather may require an interior cleaner that is PH blanced so it does not dry the leather out. Then after the leather is clean, allow it to warm in the sun and apply leather care, leather 3 in 1 or leather rejuvenator, all excellent products, that will sink into the leather and keep it supple and prevent cracking. I would not use shoe cleaner as that leather is dyed differently and may be too harsh for fine leather as is used on vehicle seats. Also keep in mind that in most vehicles, only the leather "seating surfaces" are actually leather, the rest is matching vinyl so be sure to test anything you use on a non-visible spot first.

As for repairs, there are kits available to repair holes and rips. Many are simple and require a small patch behind the leather and the placing of a color matched "goo" on top of the patch and pressing of a grained paper over the goo to resemble the leather graining, so it looks similar when dried.

Best of luck.

What's your problem?need to remove smoke odors from car

there are several types of sprays to clean interriors. one is for carpets and fabric other type is for plastic other is for leather or vynil.

first of all you need to clean interriors by sweeping it with vacuum cleaner and with water and natural soap. do not use lots of water since you will need to dry it later.

after cleaning interrior you need to proper liquid to clean related surface and wiping it with a soft quality cloth.

in general fabric surfaces like top lining and seats and carpets require two pcs of sprays(multi purpose interrior cleaner). if you seats are leather covered you need leather contidioneer. after cleaning fabric and leather. use plastic cleaner in pressureized spray cans. after wiping off all left cleaning agents, clean windows with only alcohol with a microfiber cloth.

this will take normally 1 to 2 hours. use gloves.

Downside

A few issues drove me mad. The boot opens and closes electrically. And extremely slowly. And if it touches the top of your suitcase on its way down, and it will because there’s the tonneau cover in there as well, it’ll crawl back up to the top again. People have arms, Bentley. And we don’t mind using them. Likewise, if you want to let someone in the back, the front seats slide forward as though they’re being pulled along by a koala. And while it may have seemed like a good idea when the computer geek said the radio could present drivers with a choice of all the stations in range, it wasn’t. Because the other morning it took 20 minutes to find Radio 2. The worst thing about this car, though, is hard to put my finger on. Maybe it’s the lack of sportiness. Maybe it’s the size. Maybe it’s the footballer ostentation or the pale blue paintwork that had been teamed with a cream leather interior.
