Most common is the resistor. Usually the fan will still blow on the med/ high position, but nothing for the low or high.

SOURCE: 2006 trailblazer ls v6- A/C only blows on the

sounds like it might be a blend door motor, It is located on the drivers side up under the dash on the side of the heater box, try looking at it while turning the knobs on the dash and see if it is changing positions, if not than the blend door motor might be the problem

SOURCE: Jaguar xj6 bad abs relay blowing the fuse

Could do. I think the ABS relay is housed in the same box as the starter relay. If so, you could have a blown fuse box link. Find the starter relay and see if it clicks when someone else turns the key to start. If not, see if there are volts on to the relay (there should be voltage on one side of the contacts when the ignition is on), there should also be volts on the coil when the ignition is turned to start. If not, check whether there is power to the fuse box (fuse links might have blown). If no power to coil, check gearbox park interlock switch - there is not much that stops a starter motor from turning, even in a sophisticated car like a Jaguar.

SOURCE: 2001 Ford Windstar speedometer fuse keeps blowing

We had the same problem but when we put in a new fuse it smoked. It turned out to be something with the master cylinder and required the changing of a 20 dollar part by the mechanic and problem solved

2006 BUICK LACROSSE CX ENGINE 3.8 RADIATOR FAN WONT COME ON COMES ON WHEN AC IS ON

I would check the fan relay and the temperature switch. If you can jump out the temp switch and the fan comes on, replace the switch.

2006 Buick Lucerne Air condition going hot air could it be a bad fuse or relay if so how can I tell if a relay is bad

There could be a freon leak which would stop the compressor clutch from coming on. If the inside fan comes on and it blows thru the correct vents then I'd suspect a low charge of freon .

The heater is only warm until the fan is turn on then it blows cool air

Does the engine reach normal operating temp? Are the heater hoses hot? You may need to check temp door under the dash and hvac controls. Are there any hvac trouble codes?

2007 BUICK LACROSSE NO HEAT

How difficult is it to access the control valve? I didn't find it under the hood so I am assuming it will be under the dash. The fan is working good, and the car is coming up to temperature beautiful.

Change turn signal flasher on 2006 Buick LaCrosse

turn signal flasher is usually located, in most vehicles, in or under and in back of the dashboard glove box, or in the area of the fuse box..which could be under the dash on the driver's side, or with the door open.... where the side dashboard meets the door frame on either driver's or passenger side.

My 2006 buick lacrosse wont start radio and lights work but its not saying nothing when i try to crank it

Hello! Do you hear a click when the key is turned?...If no click is heard either the ignition key, the Crank relay, the starter, or the battery are suspect...Having lights and radio does not mean the battery is capable of running a starter motor......Put a meter on the battery...should read 12.5 volts...Turn key...Does voltage drop to 8 or 9 volts? Bad battery...If all is well with battery and connections to it...Check the starter fuse # 33 in the under hood fuse/relay box...If the fuse is good that click you should hear is from the Crank Relay in that box...If all of the above is OK connect your meter to the Purple wire that is connected to the starter motor...When the key is turned 12 volts must be on that wire...If there is the starter motor is defective...So, #1...Do you hear a click when key is turned...That would point at a bad starter or weak battery...#2...If you do not hear a click bad fuse #33, bad Crank Relay, bad ignition switch...#3...If fuse is good Bad Crank Relay or Ignition switch; Crank Relay is a low cost item ($10)...Replace Relay...Stop there and send a comment as to results...Guru...saailer

2006 buick lacross horn not working

This may be a bad horn or relay or fuse, you will need to locate the horns and have someone push on horn pad while you with a test light test for power at connector. If there is power going to the horns then the horns are bad, if there is no power then check fuses first, if fuses are good then replace the horn relay.

Heater only puts out warm air in a2006 Buick LaCrosse

Hi there,

It could be indicating a problem with an actuator. But I am leaning more towards something with the controller. But can also check the heater fan fuse and relay. I would advise you to replace any bad component.

Hope this helps...
