Check the U Joints in the Drive Shaft and the Rear End. Sometimes the Rear end U Joint can be Bad and sound like the Tranny.

Is the tranny actually in Park? Make sure the shift adjustment is correct. If should start only in park or neutral in any other position shift adjustment is incorrect.

Where are the transmission shift solenoids on a 1999 honda accord

Hey Barry, I included an image of tranny, some are external but some are internal , even I rearly test my own tranny solenoid due to the complexity and the chance of getting it wrong , there are a lot of tranny shops that will scan your tranny FREE and give you a report . buyer beware ! make sure the shop is of a high reputation.

2007 ford f-150 wouldn't shift out of park until I pulled it really hard with both hands

this is normal on hills.
read the operators guide. (The A/T blues) (jack car wheel up, to free it, any rear wheel if cant move out of part)
People in San Francisco know this all so well, at the curbs.

or someone put car into park moving
and bent the parking pawl in the the tranny , oops,. that is damage.

My 2002 GMC ENVOY SLT is stuck in reverse and I can't get it start or move out of reverse. Is this an electrical problem?

If its stuck in reverse then it wont start, this could be a bad tranny or the shift cable broke or came loose, theres a braket under the dash that holds the shift cable before it connects to the shifter linkage arm and that braket sometimes gets loosened up and the other problem is the shifter tube may have broken. a good way to see if its the tranny or the shifter asm is to get under the truck make sure to block wheels and put e-brake on. dissconnect linkage at the tranny and move the selecter arm on the tranny, if it in reverse then it should move o click in one direction which is park and the other way is into neutral then drive and so on, try to get it into park and seeif truck starts, if it does then its not the tranyy but rather it the shifter, another thing before doing that have someone turn key on but dont try to start it just move the shifter and se if it moves the arm on the trany, you will see this from under the side of truck on driverside. good day.

Sir i have a 2002 haonda odyssy , for which the rear vents donot open any suggestions please.

This is a known problem for Honda Odysseys. The fix is to replace the rear vent window motors or live without their ability to open.

Could someone please tell me the location of the gear selector module on a 1996 Mercedes C250 Sport TD Auto.\r\nthanks ****

If it is a front wheel drive. it's under the hood. lookto the back of the engine to the tranny. where the shift cable/linkage goes to the the tranny.it's right under that. you will have to disconnect that , remove the arm, and there are two small bolts that hold it on. you might have to pry the old off. if it is a rear wheel drive it's under the car. again follow the linkage to the shift lever, about the middle of the tranny, drivers side. disassemble the same way. the new shift selector will come instruction on how to replace and adjust

There are two speed sensors. One is on the tranny under the throttle bosy and one is under the tranny.

This is the one under the throttle body

This is the one under the tranny near the right wheel. The Countershaft speed sensor is the best bet. i replaced this one on a 1995 honda accord with flashing d4 and after replacement it was gone.the part will be about 125 bucks.
