06 trailblazer will turn over but not start

I would assume you know how old the battery is

Charged it

Tested it

Dangerous practice jumping a dead battery

Your vehicle & all those made after 1996 are not
to be jumped

You disconnect the battery to test or charge

Jumping can ruin the electronics & cause all sorts of issues

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer LT. The "service brake system" came on and the vehicle won't start.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for at least 5mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get your vehicle back to it's normal operation.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

2005 trailblazer, started truck this morning, windows were foggy, turned on defrost but the fan was not blowing, could feel a little air flow but was not blowing on any # cycle 1-5. What might be wrong

Hello: Go under the dash, passenger side. Remove under dash cover. Look straight ahead, you will see the blower motor with 2 wires. follow these wires to the blower motor model, on the module you will see a connector w/6 wires, these wires could be burnt, if so then the module may also be burned. You can get a repair harness at a GM dealer, You will have to splice it in. Make sure you line up the new connector wit the old so you get the wires in the proper order. If the module is burnt then you will have to replace it also. The blower motor is usually ok unless it is noisy or locked up. This is a common problem.

I have a 2004 trailblazer LT. When I turn it off and later on start it up the clock has reset and the mileage has gone from travel mileage to total mileage. This apears to be an electrical problem, but...

Look for good ground connections. Your description sounds like low battery state of charge, then voltage goes too low on start up...Check charging system and load test the battery. Check ALL connections.

How to put in a headlight on a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer

Hello,
Please follow the stepwise solution carefully.
1.Open the hood and disconnect the truck's negative battery cable.
2.
Remove the grille. Unbolt and remove the plastic panel over the radiator, then use a flat screwdriver to release the clips securing the grille at the bottom to the headlight panel and lift the grill off.

3.
Pull up the retaining tabs for the headlight housing, which are on opposite ends, and carefully pull the housing out. Remove the park/turn signal bulb socket from the housing by detaching the holders and electrical connectors and disconnect the side marker socket.

4.
Take off the circular access cover from the rear of the headlight housing. Twist the bulb in a counterclockwise direction, withdraw the bulb with its electrical connector from the housing and disconnect the electrical connector.

5.
Hold the new bulb by the holder--do not touch the glass--as you connect the electrical connector. Place the bulb in the housing and twist it clockwise to lock it in place. Close the access cover.

6.
Install the headlight housing into the panel, connecting the electrical connectors, signal bulb socket and side marker socket. Push the retaining tabs in place.

7.Reinstall the grille and plastic radiator panel and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Problem solved.

Take care.
