SOURCE: Both malfunction indicator light and electronic throttle control warning light is burning after I had my 2006 jeep crd overland serviced. The car is losing power wile driving. What do I need to solve

have the fault codes read and replace the faulty units. Ask the service person if they pressure cleaned the engine as that quite often causes problems with water getting into the connections and shorting out

SOURCE: 2002 Jeep Cherokee 2.5 crd no injector pulse

outside USA this Cherokee is Liberty.
but is not our liberty. (fun no?) or Cherokee ended in 2001.
of your 4 post, this wins the ," title best post."
the IMMO lamp is on; SKIS/M lamp.
sorry, you need to scan the PCM to see why.
lost the 2nd key?
your post to a usa forum that has no such engine here.
so... answers will be mostly generic.
the key logo icon lamp means in English the immobilizer is active
Immobilizing the engine (our cars it cuts fuel)

the lamp never lies to you,
that is a fact.
it's a feature. (that cant just be removed for fun/or need)

if no second key?, (came with car new)
then you must guess
or like we do scan it.

the scan tool may show.

  1. SKIS dead
  2. or comm errors
  3. or blow fuse warnings, ? check fuses first.
  4. wrong key, bad key, dead key, etc
  5. bad key receiver.
  6. other errors

here in usa, can't speak for your country!
our laws, dictate that the ecu , cluster and Bcm and SKIS
are all married.
including the odometer,
and worse...
if you try go get cute and like take the wifes PCM
and put in your car, you brick both PCMs. (now 2 dead cars)
by law here. (non trival any of that)
this all stops the thieves dead in their tracks.
unless they arrive with a box full of matching computers.
all for you car , your engine and year. (matched and married)
(impossible sure)

ours
http://jeepdied.com/SKIM.html

see lamp 12. that must be cured FIRST. !

2002-jeep-cherokee-2-5-crd-no-injector-zwkxdqbadqxhmkzue20alkcq-3-0.jpg
get a scan tool and use it
they cost $100 here, dirt cheap
or about 1hr shop labor. so , is free if it solves 1 problem.
see ?(pays dividends)

There is no power on my injectors for my jeep cherokee sport 2.5 crd 2003

I am pretty sure that the crank sensor is what fires the injectors. Make sure the sensor is good and that it is receiving the signal from the flex plate.

Bleed screw location

its on the fuel tree that goes to each cylinder.. it has a plastic screw on cover and under that is a shcrader valve similar to the valve in a tire stem..push in on this while the pump, is on.. wait for all the trapped air to come out..replace the cap and start the vehicle..

Jeep cherokee 2.8 CRD smoking. Replaced the injectors without any improvment. The garage told me that the smoke will stop after I have driven it for a couple of handred miles. Is this true.

from what you say, they said," it was the injectors that were faulty",hence changeing them, you could have tried a fuel additive/injector cleaner which could have had the same effect.....try a can to 5 gallons of fuel and if no improvement within 100 miles, give them HELL.smoke from a turbo engine could be dirty fuel/compression low/air leak from the turbo pipes/lazy turbo, etc but this engine is not exaclty the cleanest on emmisions.so expect a SMALL amount of smoke when cold or when accelerating HARD.
