Gx460 stuck in 4 lo.Three warning lights are on the dash, engine, Traction, and 4lo. Feels like the vehicle is stuck in 4 lo

are you shure its stuck?,will it go to 2-wd? if it does,try to reset the comp' by disconnecting battery for one or more hours!

SOURCE: Transfer case stuck in 4 lo. was going down

I have a 2003 dodge 2500 4X4 with manual transfer case. I drove it and found that the lever that shifts the transfer case had fallen off. I found the lever. My question is can I drive the truck as is till I can replace the lever? The the 4X4 indicator light is NOT ON. Can I drive it?

Check your transmission fluid level. More than likely it's either low, but since you didn't switch it to 4 low, it's probably a vacuum leak. Remember it should be in neutral to switch back to 2 wheel drive.

I have a Lexus GX460 2010 model, all of a sudden it started showing me 4lo, check traction and P anytime I start the Vehicle. please what is the cause and what is the possible solution?
there was a recall issued that said the ECM needed to be reflashed.
Contact a dealership service writer and have the VIN number handy. They will check to see if the recall work was ever done on your vehicle.
Although that recall was for the stability control, it's a possibility

I would think the car is in 4Lo . You need to get it out of 4 Lo before trying to drive it on the road because you will blow it up trying to achieve high way speedsin 4 Lo. use the knob on the dash to get it out of 4=Lo

Hi, 2hi is your normal driving selection, this is NOT in 4WD mode. Both 4lo and 4hi is for 4 wheel driving, 4lo is used in extreme conditions and will gear the vehicle down to a very slow speed with maximum traction at the wheels, 4hi is for general 4 wheel driving in rough terrain, if you have lights on the dash than it will come on when you change gears, hope this help

How do I turn traction control on? Light on dash says "traction off" all the time.
The Enhanced Traction System warning light may come on for the following reasons:
If you turn the system off by shifting to SECOND (2) or FIRST (1), the warning light will come on and stay on. To turn the system back on,shift to THIRD (3) or AUTOMATIC OVERDRIVE

If the traction control system is affected by an engine-related problem, the system will turn off and the warning light will come on.

If the Enhanced Traction System warning lightmcomes on and stays on for an extended period of time when the system is turned on, your vehicle needs service. Adjust your driving accordingly..
