SOURCE: Skoda Superb 2004 1.8tdi. How do I remove the rear

It just pries off . Use a stiff putty knife.

On the inside, remove 2 screws at the bottom.

Testimonial: "It`s actually a Skoda Superb, & the trim panel appears to be held by the pull handle fixings. "

SOURCE: alternater removal skoda superb 2.8 v6 petrol 2005

The way I did it was to undo the earth lead on the battery first, remove the engine cover, then undo the power steering pump and the bracket which holds the rigid pipe (makes it more moveable) to move it out of the way, undo the tensioner, removing the pulley first (easy job, just 3 x 6mm allen bolts). I pulled the belt out of the way from underneath, having first removed the undertray, and disconnected the alternator wiring. I undid the radiator fan, so it would give me more clearance, and having undone all the bolts for the alternator, was able to squeeze the alternator up through the gap, bending the radiator hose out of the way. This all sounds simple, but as it was trial and error, it took me about an hour. I think you could do it easier by removing the a/c pump and dropping the alt out through the bottom, but I thought it looked trickier to locate the bolts.
I am still to put the new one back in, so if I find any problems I will add to this thread

My skoda superb has engine light on in dashboard and the glow plugs light flashing sometimes with lose of power.can you help my with a good answer

On the skoda the coil lights flashing indicate a engine fault , normaly it will be a fuel fault something as little as fuel filter issue or could be boost fault , split vac pipe or intercooler pipe , easyest way to get to the fault is by putting it on a computer to get the fault code that put the light on , the loss of power will be the ecu putting the car in to limp home mode

Esp warning light problem

If the tires are different sizes, that can cause the light to come on. Other causes are discussed on pages 28 and 173 of the manual:
