SOURCE: 2005 GMC Envoy SLE blower fan speed #5 is not working

More than likely this should just be your resistor. You have different sized coils on the back of your resistor for all the different fan speeds. if one of them burns out or breaks then that certain speed will not work.

SOURCE: 2005 GMC Envoy XL High Speed Blower not working

if the other speeds work it is probably the blower resistor; if applies varying resistance to the voltage running the blower; this allows the fan to run at different speeds; should be located very close to the blower motor; behind a panel under the passenger side of the dash

SOURCE: FRONT A/C BLOWER MOTOR NOT WORKING ON 2005 GMC

First check and see if you have voltage at blower motor with key and switch on, with test light, if you do have voltage, blower motor bad, replace it, if you don't have voltage at blower motor, next to it, is where the blower motor resistor is at, follow the wire from the blower motor to it, check voltage there, should have voltage, if you do replace blower motor resistor, resistor cost about $45.00 at auto parts. If I can be of more help. please let me know.

SOURCE: 2005 GMC Envoy. Blower will not work all fuses

If this a manual HVAC system, the blower motor resistor pack is defective or the blower motor itself is bad.
If this is the Automatic digital HVAC, the blower motor control module is defective or the blower motor itself is bad.

2005 envoy the fan wont shutoff after the engines been turned off

The fan for the heater right? If so, for the autoclimate control you need to replace the blower motor countrol module. If it's manual controls, replace the blower motor resistor assembly.

No power to heater fan on settings 1 to 4 but power still works fan on number 5 setting

Replace blower resistor pack, located behind glovebox mounted on blower motor. Also check for burnt wires or contact pins on connector.

Trouble shooting climate control intermitting blower problem # 5 speed has not been working for about 3 months # 1 2 3 4 speed is now working intermittingly

GMC has an ongiong problem with the blower motor resistor, look under the dash on the passenger side and you will see the blower housing, unplug the wireing harness that feeds it and look at the plug carefully you will see that the third pin from the left has been over heated and is melted a little. the repair is quick and easy go to your local parts store and purchase a new resistor and a replacement wireing plug, you will have to cut the old plug off and splice the new one in, replace the resistor and your done. I would recomend that the wires be and spliced cut one at a time so as to insure that they are put in the right location.

AC blower fan no working on any speed. Somtimes works on speed 5.

The blower motor resistor needs replaced.Would also check the harnesses going to the resistor and blower motor for signs on melted wiring or poor connection. You may also need new pigtails if there is evidence of of wiring damage.
