The IAT sensor is mounted to the intake air duct housing. This sensor is usually integral to the mass airflow sensor. Carefully remove and inspect.the inside for any contamination or foreign material. Pin 1 and 3 have same wire color black/pink. It should read 1.9 - 2.1 kilohms at 25 degC. The fast check is to repkace it with a known good sensor. The next check possible is the wiring, and signals from the ecm. ?

i believe it is built together with the mass airflow sensor!

The IAT is a variable resistance unit and has only 2 connections. One being power and the other signal. The power is the grey/red lead and the signal(connected to the control unit pin 39) is the grey.
Did your chip's manufacturer give you instructions on how to connect ie in series with the IAT or parallel to the IAT?

IAT = Intake Air Temperature MAF = Mass Air Flow VAF = Volume Air Flow
The first thing I would do is to check at and around the air filter and air intake tube to make sure there are no connectors unplugged. If none are unplugged you will need to take it to a qualified repair facility to have the codes diagnosed. I would recommend finding a Napa Auto Care Center as they are held to a certain standard to be a certified facility.

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the air cleaner case. The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is an integral part of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. Looks like this:

ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.treeViewID = 'ctl00$cphLeft$chRepairTreeNav$tvTOC';
ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data.name = 'ctl00_cphLeft_chRepairTreeNav_tvTOC_Data';
