If its not working on some speed only, check the blower resistor. But If not working on all speed, possible open circuit with motor or the controller switch.

Have you checked your blower relay in the under-hood relay / fuse block? I found a photo that may help you identify which it is. If the other relays in the block are the same type (all markings the same), you can swap one out for it to see if that fixes it before moving in deeper.

There are 4 things to check out to pin point the problem: the switch it's self, the blower relay switch, resistor block, and the blower motor it's self. good luck

Replace the blower motor resistor. Remove the shroud below glove box, 2 screws and a snap-pop fitting. Be careful of the courtesy light. Remove the blower moter and disconnect the purple/black power connector to it - - you'll need this extra room to work with. 2 more screws, same size, 6.5mm on mine, 7or 8mm on some others, that holds the blower motor resistor in place. This replacement part is less than 40 bones at most parts store. Unplug, replace, re-install, test and you're on your way with about 2 hours of slow paced effort in your own driveway. Typical cost at a garage - up to $400, what a sham.

You have to remove the dash to get to the blower motor on this vehicle if memory serves me right. It's a substantial job. Take it to dealer should still be under warranty.

SOURCE: blower motor doesn't work and has no power to it

Check the blower multispeed control resistor pack is not faulty.
The resistor pack is usually located in the air ducting, in the blower fan airflow.
Basically, +12v power is supplied (via fuse) to the fan speed control switch, which then passes via the selected speed control resistor, to the fan motor. Often a interface relay is used to switch the blower motor high current.

What is underlying cause of 2005 Toyota Corolla electrical issues. Blower motor work then not work, also continued to blow even with keys removed. Stopped working at all. All fuses good Relay melted.

This is most often caused by a failed blower motor, the brushes are worn out or sticking and not making good contact to the armature of the motor, one other possible cause is a defective blower motor switch and or connector

The ventilation fan for heat/ac is not working. The fuses all seem the be ok. Any thing else to look for

Did you check the proper fuses for voltage? Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on. Even if fuses are good, if no voltage the circuit is still dead. I guess your talking about the blower motor? Can you hear it running? I don't know if you auto hvac or manual hvac? I don't know if your talking about front or rear blower motor?
Get at the blower motor, if two wire connector, that should be voltage and ground. Turn on the hvac controls, check for voltage and ground at the blower motor connector. If good voltage and ground with no blower action, suspect the blower motor.

It is possible to use jumper wires from the battery for voltage and ground to blower motor connector, just for testing to see if blower motor will run, use an inline fuse, just in case.
If you want wiring diagram, I need more info.

The heat on my 2007 ML 350 stop working suddenly. The blower to circulate the air does not come on. What is the likely cause of this? The fuse is OK.

Need to check the blower motor resistor and the blower motor itself. They should be located under the passenger side dash.

Trouble shoot blower motor switch

Often times the problem is the blower resistor not the switch.
You would use a meter or a test light to check for power at the resistor and also the switch. The resistor controls power to the blower motor to adjust speed.

I have a 2007 Chevy Express 3500 Ext. - My rear air just stopped. A/c works as normal up front but no blower running in the rear. I have checked all the fuses, what I could find. What next?

the rear blower has its own motor in the back the rear blower motor may be bad or the wires going to it may be bad test for power going to blower motor if you have power in harness hooking to blower motor then blower motor may be at fault auto parts store sells the book on your vehicle its about 18 dollars if not lesser buy a test light trace down your problem if the fuse is good your rear blower motor will be in the back of your vehicle theres a cover that pulls air in back there take the cover of it off you will see your blower motor test wireing going to it for power theres also blower motor relays research it read and you will find the problem good luck

Heater fan in 1991 Pontiac sunbird stopped working. We have replaced fuses, and the fan motor. Still not working, continues to blow the fuses. What to do?

Replace the blower motor resistor assembly. To locate the electrical connector for the blower motor resister, it is usually attached to a heating or air conditioning Duct, or the blower motor case. You can also trace the Purple Wire from the blower motor back to the resister. Also make sure that the blower fan is not jamed up with somthing in side and will spin freely,or binding same thing, this will also cause the fuse to blow right away. And does the motor actually spin a bit before it blows the fuse or does it blow the fuse at the same time the switch is turned on? Good Luck and have a good XMASS.
