I cannot for the life of me find the low side port on my 2005 Spectra. I think I'm going to lose my mind. I have looked under the hood for over an hour following every tube. Can't even see where the compressor is to find it. I found the high port with the H, but can't see where the tubes lead. Can it be out of view? Underneath the car?

Look on the inside of the engine compartment in the left front corner, or next to the compressor, which is inside on the left handside if you are standing in front of the vehicle, it will be indicated by a blue cap, the red cap you dont touch , that is the high side port, you are looking for the low side which is the blue cap

SOURCE: Heard a grinding sound under hood. Car then died.

So does the a/c still work, maybe your compressor is bad? Top off your oil and run the engine and see if you can find out where the oil came from?

2006 Kia Amanti. Where is the TCM located on a it? I have a vague location, looking for more details.

what engine is in the car? size and if Gas or Diesel.

well the service manual covers all that and more.
some cars have no such module at all.
as back in 1996 the trend was to move the TCM into the ECM box
and call it a PCM.
insome cases , like diesel transmission option they had to put in a TCM to make t work
no country told, no VIN TOLD so I can decode the drive line codes.
there is no generic photos of these parts.
each car is made with options, and the parts match that only.
Unique photos yes.

How do you change a front headlight on a 2005 hyundai elantra

This is an 'inside' job. Open the hood and you will see on the back of the light a clip. Remove this and the bulb will fall out. BUT you should wear gloves to replace the new bulb! Never touch it with bare hands! This is not an easy job! You will more than likely think you have the wroung part!

Need to recharge AC, looking for recharge port?

Here is an image of the low side port I found on my 2007 Kia Spectr5. It was towards the back left when standing in front of the car with hood up. The cap had an L embossed on it. My car was blowing neutral air not cold or hot and the clutch kicked on only when the car would start. I took it to a shop for a basic pressure test and they said it was low put the system looked fine. I just bought a can of subzero and did it myself and now I freeze. The pressure was actually empty when I used the gauge and it took an 18 oz can to get me up but was still not enough to reach the recommended zone on the gauge but I figured why push it if it's blowing so cold. The can of subzero I bought had the gauge attached to it so I kept the gauge and can easily check it at any time for a basic reading. That and when it comes time to charge it again I can grab a small 12 oz can with no gauge for a much lower price and use the gauge with it. I searched every where online but had no luck finding good info or images on where to find the port, So I decided to post this retrospect for others that find this query.

If you are under the hood you will see 2 lines comming from the AC Compressor, the small line is the high pressure, the large line is low pressure, the port will most likely be near the compressor or near the accumulator bottle on the blower/heater case at the the firewall, the large low press. line is connected to this bottle looking assy.
