todays cars use (TPS demand, + engine load/ rpm and road speeds) all are now DATA streamed, PCM to TCM

well that can be engine or transmission problems.
why notscan the PCM first see why it did that.

engine fault means , felt or seen the CEL lamp glow
check engine lamp glows running means what it tells you scan the PCM is act 2.
in USA it is a tool OBD2, (works on all cars here) 2008 up tools are best.

most manufacturers recommend belt changes at 60..000. miles or 100.000 klms > sooner if the car is subject to hard work dusty conditions and constant high revs. If you have an oil leak evident then oil will reduce the belt life by up to half.
Check out your battery/ charging system.
Low battery voltage can cause system faults to appear in the diagnostic system also could explain your lack of power and stalling.
