SOURCE: engine stalls when restarted idles up and down and stalls

I went through this scenario while working in a toyota sienna a few months ago and it ended up being the battery. When battery supply voltage starts to drop the PCM will limit voltage to certain areas.

The throttle body needs cleaning. It has some carbon build up, and when the battery went dead the computer lost its learned values, one of which is base throttle position. Now its reset back to factory specs, not accounting for a dirty throttle body. Seen it a million times

First impression is a MAP sensor. If you take the car to a service station or an auto parts store that features free diagnostic tests, I'm sure the MAP sensor fault will appear. Other cause could be the TPS which controls the idle at cold, warm, and AC operation settings. It's possible that you're stalling due to insufficient idle speed setting on the TPS.
