SOURCE: what oil does 2005 kia amanti use
Depends on where you live in the country. In TN where I live most people just use 10W30 all year, but if you live in a colder area you would use 10W30 in the summer and 5W30 in the winter. Hope this helps. Thanks for an honest rating.
SOURCE: will be replacing brakes on 04 kia amanti soon.
Yes be careful with the caliper pistons, make sure they do not fall out.
You must push them back into the cylinders in order to put new pads in.
Thats now out of the way, Just be sure to lube up the sliding pins on the calipers. if you are replacing rotors be careful of the brake lines when you remove the caliper and to hang the caliper with a wire hanger or caliper hanger if you have one to not stress the brake lines
SOURCE: 2005 Kia amanti ignition key wont turn?
You may have a broken ignition tumbler, or is your steering wheel turned all the way to one side? If so, apply pressure on the steering wheel in the same direction that your tires are already turned, at the same time try turning your key forward. Your steering wheel lock may be denying you to turn your key. hope this helps

SOURCE: 2005 Kia Amanti; heater on driver side blowing cold
For those of you who may google this link and are looking for an solution, my local repair shop isolated my 2005 Amanti problem to a $2.78 plastic clip on the temperature blend door actuator rod linkage. It simply fatigued and eventually broke resulting in the actuator rod falling off the actuator door lever. The labor to isolate the problem and to replace the clip did amount to almost $170. Hope this helps those of you in the future.
