You can go to a nearby parts store and purchase a Haynes automotive reference guide and it contains all the different diagrams that would need. On the front of the book it would say 1990-94 lumina cutlass etc.

just pull them off

pull the breaker then see what doesn't work.

Worst case or one suggestion might be the timing chain. I bet I get some flack here from pros and dealer techs, but the slow cranking is what I keyed off of. Iam sure the knowledgable olds folks will help you. Also bad battery cables,bad starter or just it's solenoid. Do you feel it is a starter issue as in cranking or no start as won't stay running?

I dont work as a car mechanic but have some limited knowledge,,,, Most of the time that you get popping noises in the front end (usually while turning) it is the CV joint,,, the boot drys and cracks and dirt, sand and grit take out the joint, so if you replaced the joint and the boot and lubed it up,,, could be the tire is not completely round(was told my rear tires were shaped like eggs by one shop) other than that, you have to limit it down to the when and wheres... like when does it happen, how fast are you going, stopping,,turning, braking,,, out of gear(in nuetral..etc) then I think the answer will be easily to tell.

Try flushing the heater core with a garden hose.

you can replace the stud by hitting it out with a hammer and punch. by a new stud and nut. put the new stud through the hole to pull it through put the lug nut on backwords and tightening it down until it seats completely.

after replacing the thermostat and when you refilled th radiator did you make sure you got all the air out of the cooling system? if so my guess would be you got a head gasket problem.In the long run take it to a shop ,have them check it out and giveyou a estimate.

yes a cover would help but make sure it can be a flat color meaning no glossy looking cover or u can use a towel
