Check if there is air in the system. You need to bleed out the clutch. Inspect the pedal linkages for binding or anything out of the ordinary. If bleeding the clutch did not resolve the issue, you need to go back to the transmission and inspect the fork or pivot ball. It could be possible that the conversion kit did not match the model that you have. It is possible that bad seals causing debris may have caused the issue and it was just coincidence that after replacing the flywheel did this happen.
You may also need to replace transmission fluid.
