I have a 2009 Mitsubishi lancer and the rear wheel on drivers side is making kinda a whinning noise when you drive over15 minutes but it's not constent. It comes and goes. What could it be?

If the vehicle is a front wheel drive, the switch can be seen on top of the transmission, under the shift rod. It will have a multi electrical connector attached to it. If the vehicle is a rear wheel drive, the switch will be on the driver's side on the transmission under the shift lever. It is easy to see and quite obvious. Good-Day!

As it has to be done at a wheel alignment shop they will know the best settings. Make sure that they do the alignment on the rear first as it affects the front alignment

if they are weak and crackling the weak sound might be your balance and fader .............the crackling is because the voice coil is going out another words they are pretty much junk time to replace them

the direction is take your car in to a service shop and have pull the wheel off and find out whats wrong???????

If you haven't done so, check the power steering fluid, might be low, that will also cause a whining noise.
