2001 bonneville ssei runs ok then out of the blue it dont any ideas ?

Have done fuel pump/filter/plugs/wires have read alot about ignition key trouble/no codes or service engine lights on

Crank sensor would be what I would check next . If it gets hot and does the cranks but no start issue see if the tachometer registers while cranking it over .

Need to isolate problem is it electrical or fuel --check fuel pump circuit --relay may be overheating or faulty --recheck pump new doesnt mean free from fault --can check ignition system --crank and cam sensors sometimes dont give off codes when failing --

Runs ok then out of the blue it dont ???? Explain . stops running , runs but badly etc.... Not ignition switch . ignition key trouble ?????? SEcurity light lit on the instrument cluster ? Your not having starting problems ? Just running problems ? Ignition module , crankshaft position sensor . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop

you may need to run a wire from a keyed ignition source that has power while cranking and running to the fuel pump relay and bypass the pcm to test wether it will run, if it runs put a more permanent wire in place.Not too sure what tests youve done but it seems that fuel is what your focusing on so a quick test is too spray engine start up the intake tube to see if the engine trys to run if it does it eliminates a lot of other potential reasons for a no start condition.Also try squeezing the fuel return line to see if the added pressure will try to make engine run.Could be time to replace fuel pump etc anyway let me know how it goes good luck with it

Does it crank? Do you have any codes? Check engine light? Do you have spark? No spark check coil, and connections, also it would be nice to know what year it is. Get codes read. No crank check battery and starter. No codes or lights check crank position sensor, make sure your pcm is good after replacing your ignition mod you could have blown it if you did do it right. (engine computer) Check cam sensor if applies. Crank and cam could prevent it from starting and I know one I think cam controls pcm's fuel delivery on gm's

I have 2005 Kia Sportage with a check engine light. No other symptoms. I was told by Kia and Local mechanic that it is the fuel injectors. Error Code states that Fuel injectors are running lean. Put Master airflow- no change. Ran engine test with propane to run rich and trim never changed from 15. Car runs great. Kia dealer said that this is because we use Ethel in gas that it effects the alumium fuel rail delivery to the injectors and that it is necessary to change all of them .Kia Dealer wants $1,000.00 deposit to place order 6 fuel injectors from Kia. (Has anyone heard of that?)Also put fuel injector cleaner in tank.Does anyone have any suggestions before I spend over $1,000.00 to replace all 6 injectors or possible idea of what could be wrong?

It could be that you have picked up a batch of dirty fuel that has clogged the gauze input filter that is part ot the fuel pump inside the fuel tank.

these motors have two carrier pulleys and oone tensioner. lookinjg at the motor from the rightside of car the belt goes as follaws: crank pully to super charger from the left. the right side goes up to the lower carrier which will have the flat of the belt riding on it. from there the belt routes to the upper carrier

How long has it been since a tune up? I'd suggest plugs, wires, etc. (don't forget air and fuel filters while you're at it.)

I have a 95 bonneville ssei it ran but ran sluggest than quite running wont start but starts with starting fluid in the air filter than quicks what can it be

Listen for fuel pump in tank when turning key to "on" position. If pump is not working, check pump relay and fuse (probably in engine compartment fuse panel). If fuse and relay are good, suspect pump has failed.

My 2001 pontiac ssei says to service theft system

I would take it to a dealer and have the ignition switch looked at, That is either pass key (pk stamped in key) or pass key 3 (pk3) and the ignition switch is probably having trouble reading to key to disengage the anti theft system, eventually it wont let the car start, and it never happens when your home!
