I have a 07 Linc mkx. Code came up p303. A misfire on cylinder 3. Plugs were replaced but it's still showing code. Also the connector behind the upper manifold was rigged. What is it called. MAP sen.

very common problem two things either the injector on that cylinder is bad or the fuel rail need clean out with injection clean a good shop can clean them.

Had the same problem, car was misfiring on cylinder 3 and 4. replaced wires, plugs, and ignition coil. still misfired on the same cynlinders. turned out the main engine wiring harness plug in was coming loose. spent well over $150 on the unneccesary repairs and ultimately fixed the problem wit a $3 bag of wire ties to hold the plug in...

Replace the coil for number 3 cylinder.

Has anyone found the problem? My 2003 has #3 cyclinder misfire and I have replaced the plugs and wires. It runs rough at idle but smooths out at highway speed. Anyone have any knowledge on this? This sounds like a common problem.
