SOURCE: Orifice Tube - 2002 Buick Century

Some are in the inlet to the evaporator and some could be in the condenser line. You can get a new orifice tube on autozone for $5 - 20

No. 2001 to 2003 are interchangeable. I am currently looking to replace mine on a 2002 and have consistently been told those years are the same. These babys are pricey, perhaps you can trade your 2004 for one that will work.

SOURCE: How do I replace broken 2002 buick century passenger side mirror?

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

2002 buick century brakes will lock after it has been parked for 5 min or 5 hrs and will not move until I go from forward to reverse several time. Intermittent but frustrating.

While I don't have a specific solution to your complaint, I did find a site that lists many, many service bulletins related to braking problems on the 2002 Buick Century. Why not take a look to see if any of these complaints sound like yours.

I have a 2002 Buick Century 3.1 l engine that comes back with a P0446 code. does anybody know what this means and what the cure is ?

That is an EVAP code (gasoline vapors from the tank)
Make sure the gas cap is on ,could just be a line or hose leaking (not gas just vapor).Careful inspection of the vapor lines may find it.
There is a small green cap on a black plastic line under the hood, should be somewhere near the front valve cover ,top of intake manifold. If you blow smoke into the testport you may be able to find it that way.

2002 Buick Century, when the tank is 1/4 full,

P0446 Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction

The evaporative emission control system checks to make sure there are no leaks in the lines that run from the gas tank to the charcoal canister and up to the engine. It also checks to make sure the gas cap is sealing correctly.
It may just be that the cap was not on tight and the code was tripped.

A dusty environment can also clog the vent line and cause this code.
Have the code cleared and see if it comes back. Some auto parts stores like Auto Zone can read and clear the codes for you.
Hope this helps.
