Car is overheating after short drive (3/4 hour) had thermostat changed, put new coolant in radiator. radiator was pressure tested no leaks? car ok short drive to store. resevoir seems always overfilled...

The expansion tank will be more full when hot. Let it cool down and check it then. The level in the axpansion tank should go lower. If not then you may have a faulty radiator cap.
Also have you checked the cooling fan? Engine driven? With the engine off, spin the blade. Does it spin real freely? Continue to spin for more than a quick second? May have a bad fan clutch. They have fluid inside and the fluid can leak out of the seals after age.

Overheating '97 Ford Taurus

make sure thermostant is good. most important is to make sure you didnt blow a gasket when it overheated, if you have a 3.8 engine those are famous for blowing headgasket. anyway have a block test done first, its a liquid they use to see if exhaust gases are entering the cooling system, good luck ,hope this helps.

Were is the trans control located in my vehicel for a 97 dodge avenger?

It should be on the side of the transmission that faces the radiator.Down on the right hand side under the hood. It will have a group of wires attached to it with a 10mm bolt through the harness. The module itself is attached with separate bolts. If you remove it you will probably need new gaskets and it will leak fluid onto the floor under it so put something down.

97 dodge avenger-the tube behind water pump is

the dealer should be able to get these. you may have to remove the intake manifold or see what you have to remove in order to do the job. its not something an amateur should try to do. They usually leak because of poor maint, and degraded coolant. If its leaking, more cooling problems are likely on the way.
