this may or may not help u jim, i have a 2000 vw beetle. i am currently troublshooting an a/c problem, my effort brought me to a module (could b relay) located underneath where the battry sits. that battery seat comes out. it is at this module where both fans on my car plugs into. hope this help.................terry
if you checked the fuses, and they are all good most likely the plug popped out or is loose, or bulb burnt out if only one bulb., and you will have to remove some dashboard to get at it
