dont worry about that you will have to turn the motor over 40 to 50 time before those timing belt marks line up again if your pulley marks line up correctly thats all you have to worry about

What are the timing marks for the timing belt on a holden Barina 2011

IF you are just trying to reset the belt at the top and have not remover the crank pulley, bring the # 1 cylinder up to Top dead center on the compression stroke,. It will read Zero degrees on the timing mark scale.
look at the cam gear closely and you will see that there are 5 spokes which support the actual gear. Look closer and you will see that one of the spokes has a small hole in it towards the outside of the gear. Position the gear to where that hole is at the 12 oclock position . NOW, if you look thorough the hole, you should should see a small notch that the hole should be centered on. If not, move the gear until you can look through the hole and the notch falls dead center. At that point in time, you have the crank ant camshaft in perfect time with each other.
When you put the belt on, make sure that the side which is slack is the tensioner side. You should be able to slip the belt on, matching the teeth with the teeth on the gears to where one side is fairly tight and you can not roll the cam counter clockwise.

Need timing marks for 96 hyundai accent 1.5 sohc

If your old belt is still on the easiest way and can't go wrong is to mark the timing belt and pulleys in same position so they line up using nail varnish as it dries quicker than paint, wait for it to dry and then take bel off transfer the marks onto new belt by putting belts together making sure the are in line then just put belt onto car lining up with the marks on the pulleys tension belt and job done

I need timing belt marks for new timing belt on a 1994 Toyota Camry LE 2.2L 4 cylinder

Firstly the no.1 piston should be at TDC (compression).

The upper camshaft sprocket has a smaller hole in the web. This should be lined up exactly with the TDC timing mark behind it on the cam bearing cap. In this position it will be vertically upwards.

At the same time the notch in the crankshaft pulley timing flange should be opposite the 0 degrees mark on the timing marks on the front of the lower belt cover.

How to install timing belt

One way to do it, is to make a mark on the tooth wheels the timing belts is running over, and a correspondig mark on somewhere on the engine.
Another way is to turn the tooth wheels around, until the factory made position marks on the tooth wheels correspond with the factory made position marks on the engine (normally upper part).
What is important is that the tooth wheels are in exactly same postion when you put on the new timing belt, as when you removed the old timing belt.
It's also recommended to replace the unit used for tightening the timing belt at the same time.
This is only a short description of the most important things. For a more detailed describtion, one can get a repair manual from Haynes:

Hi, I need to replace the timing belt on my

The crankshaft pulley has a hole in it, just above the key. It should be straight up and lined up with the mark on the engine.
The cam pulley also has a hole, and it should be lined up with the little v in your camshaft cover. Put the belt on, line it up, and turn the engine over with a wrench or socket, 2 complete revolutions. Everything should be exactly the same place as when you lined it up. If not, you are out one cog, and will have to do it again.
Make sure the cam is on compression stroke when you line it up. Both valves on #1 cylinder should be fully up... in the closed position.

Water pump

This is one of the most frusterating things to do because of the very limited space inside the engine, but you will have to remove the radiator the fan blade, all the hoses, the balancer, move the alternator, remove the timing belt cover and all the serpentine belts, remove the timing belt "MARK THE BELT WHERE IT ORIGINALY WAS OR YOU WILL MESS THE TIMING UP AND POSSIBLY THE ENGINE!!!", Remove water pump the reinstall new one, the assemble everything back together!! GOOD LUCK ITS A PAIN IN THE @$$!!!!
