The blower motor should be located under passenger side dash. The blower motor control module should be located close to blower motor.
I'd check voltage and ground at blower motor connector, hvac turned on. Purple wire is voltage. Black is ground. If good voltage and ground with no action from blower motor, suspect the blower motor.

It is a little difficult to find. The resistor module is on the right side below the dash next to the heater motor next to the fire wall you will have to remove a kick panel by the glove box

SOURCE: Blower motor location

Hi, I had to replace mine also. It's located under the glove compartment, passenger side. Pull off the chrome moulding around the glove box and undo the screws. This will allow you access to the blower motor cover. Be careful of the light inside the glove box. You have to ubdo it's screw and feed it through the back. Undo the cover to expose the blower motor. You can also replace the interior filter in the same area if you haven't done so yet. Two screws on a narrow cover.
Good luck.

My 2004 impala heater blower stopped working but was working fine yesterday but no heat today?

Check fuse first. If ok then likely speed control module or blower motor itself is faulty.

Sounds like you have a shorted power wire to ground in your heater circuit.

I have a 2004 Impala. when I turned off the ignition myheater blower stayed on what can i do tofix it cheap?

More than likely the resistor for the heater motor is causing the problem
it is located behind the heater motor under the dash on the passengers side. If the heater motor is making noises it may be drawing to much and caused the resistor problem.

My the fan on my 05 impala does not turn on

I think you need to check the blower motor first,
using a test light locate the blower motor,it will be behind the glove box under the dash,Turn the key on and the fan switch on,now check the wires to motor,One will be black thats ground,Check the other it could be red or blue,if your test light lights up its the motor.
