SOURCE: 2006 hhr how do i reset the keyless door opener,

Press and release the colored learn button on the motor head. You have 30 seconds to enter in the 4 digit code followed by the up/down action button. The light bulb should flash to let you know this has been coded. If this does not work include the brand and model number. Thanks BB

How do I program a new key fob into my Chevrolet HHR LT

Turn the key "ON" "OFF" "ON" "OFF" "ON" "OFF" "ON" and leave in the "ON" position. Press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote until the doors lock and unlock. Turn the key "OFF" and your remote should be programmed. If this doesn't work, you might have to take your vehicle into the dealership.

How do you reset the relay switch for seat on the driver side of 2006 chevy hhr

There is no 'reset'. There are fuses you can check. See your owner's manual to read through the fuse listing. Also be sure your wiring didn't become unplugged under your seat, as if something was lodged under the seat pulling on the wiring.

Lost set of keys, alarm was on car locked. Found spare key only, it will open door, alarm goes off, but the key won't start engine. It will turn in ignition, but dead! It's a Chevy HHR 2006! HELP

Close the doors. Lock the doors using the buttons on the key fob. Use the fob to again unlock the doors. The key should then work the ignition. If this will not work, you will have to tow your vehicle to the dealer and buy a new key and/or fob and have it programmed to the vehicle.

Need to programm extra remote for entry on 2008 HHR

I know for 2006 HHRs you have to have it programmed by either the dealership or another shop with a scan tool.

Other user say that is NOT at all necessary to go to the DEALER, and send this tips straight from the 2009 Factory Service Manual:

Quote:
1. With a previously learned master key, turn on the ignition, with the engine off.
2. Turn OFF the ignition and remove the key.
3. Within 10 seconds of turning off the ignition, insert the key to be learned and turn ON the ignition. The vehicle has now learned the new key.

A MASTER key is any key that already operates the vehicle.
All the above assumes the car in Italy is built to USA standards, if not all bets are off.

This is so simple even a CAVE man can do it. Why go to a dealer? I guess because that is what the Owners Manual says to do.

Up to 10 keys can be programmed into the BCM to operate the vehicle, while up to ONLY four Remote FOBs can be programmed.

The FOBs do have to be programmed at the Dealer or a well-equipped Locksmith may be able to handle it. If you are adding a FOB, gather up all your FOBs and take them to the person programming the vehicle. If the programmer makes a mistake or if four or more have ever been programmed to the vehicle, they may need them ALL present.
