Actros gear can't select,try to teach-in by major.it always cut off with Gs fault code 06 displaying on the cluster.what can i do to solve this problem?

Hi Pat, carry out a diagnostic scan. That will pin point the problem so that you can get it rectified. I've known the same problem to be reported from a number of Actros owners, so its not uncommon. Regards John

SOURCE: No gear indicator, replaced cluster, odometer and PRNDL lights on, but no indicator light for gears. ????? Swapped out instrument cluster, gears displayed on other vehicle, (both instrument clusters)

I had a similar situation. No odometer, fuel gage, etc. Turned out to be loose connection in the relay box that is closest to the battery cables. I opened the box and reinserted the connections. It happened again and I took a hammer and gave the black box a whack and it started working again. I found that when the car is running, my wife behind the steering wheel an me under the hood, that when I manipulate the box she hears a click under the dash and the symptoms appear and disappear. That is where I would direct my attention. I understand it is a common problem on this model from a Buick mechanic.

9 times out of ten it is the front control module, but it is almost impossible to confirm an intermittent code.

Get the Chilton book of your make and model, they include wiring diagrams. Mine is a complete lifesaver. They usually run around $25 and you can get one at most of your auto parts stores. If you plan on working on your own vehicle it's a must.

code p 2600 refers to engine coolant pump motor --- open circuit === causes --wiring -- engine coolant pump relay
it also refers to fuel pressure sensor---circuit malfunction===causes --wiring short to positive ---short to ground--fuel pressure sensor
