I cnt get it to shut off i tried putting the key in the drivers side and unlocking the car but it does nothing

If you are talkling about ur alarm system...theres a hidden switch somewere in or under the hood of your car it says on and off...but there are some cars that the alarm system is built in so all you need it the remote for your car to disarm it....it happened to me when i was on vacation and i had to get a family member to send me the remote lol..so i hope i solved your problem :)

Try this to reset the system

Insert the ignition key into the driver side door lock.

  • Turn the key counterclockwise to unlock the door.

  • Turn the key clockwise to initiate the alarm activation sequence.

  • Turn the key counterclockwise. The alarm will stop and reset itself.

    Turn off factory alarm
    Not sure on this one, unless the switch is not connected to the drivers door handle. On a Dodge you disable the alarm by unlocking the drivers door with the key.

    I tried unlocking it with the alarm control and it wasn't functioning so inserted they key to the drivers side and opened the car and it gave three chirping sounds and shut the whole car off. nothing...

    The driver side door will not lock or unlock using key fab. Only the passenger and trunk will unlock. Cannot lock my car unless i manually lock my drivers side door, shut it then hit the lock on the key...
    some how lever to the lock unit came off , need to open the interior panel of the driver door and put back lever to the lock unit. It should work.

    will your key work in the passengers side?
    If so I asume you have electric door locks. open drivers door from inside shut the passengers door. go around to the drivers side shut the door lock the doors from inside then unlock the doors open door shut door and try to start it...as far as disableing it you will have to take it to nissan electrical tec.
