where the rubber pipe joins manifold on engine their is a plastic fitting that the pipe fits onto ,if you look carefully you will see where the jubille clip and flantened it a bit ,thats your reading no doubt .if it runs ok ignore the fault codes,as a matter of fact iam surprissed you have evan managed to read it as its all encrypted software and it will show different codes to what it will show on a renault machine

Very simple. Disconnect the plug from it, unscrew, replace with new sensor and o-ring.....2 screws hold it on.

this a map sensor, probably just need the sensor replaced, it measurese intake vaccum and adjusts air/fuel mixture accordingly

Location of IAT sensor in the car?

For Hyundai Car 1999-05 - Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Location (check several options):

1.- The IAT sensor is located against the firewall to the left side of the engine. It is combined with the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor.

2.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. On some vehicles this sensor is combined with the MAP/MAF sensor.

3.- The IAT sensor is located in the air plenum assembly. On some vehicles it is combined with the MAF sensor.

4.- This sensor is located in the air intake plenum assembly. On some vehicles this sensor is combined with the MAP/MAF sensor.
