I would like to see a wiring diagram for a 2002 Ford-150 crew cab pickup truck, to find out what my trouble is as I bought a new board for the overhead console and the compass works great but the temperature reads a -40 degrees all of the time I want to be able to follow the wiring to the sensor and fix the problem that I am having.

I would suspect the outise air temp sensor is defective, replace it. It is located in front of the AC condensor core.
SOURCE: outside temperature reading -40 and outside temperature sensor has been replaced
had the same problem, it needs time to calibrate, you have to drive it over 19 miles per hour for at least 10 minutes or so and it should reset itself. I would just take it on a drive if you haven't done so yet.

Well, you see, the overhead console gauge is one of two temperature gauges that are factory installed in my pickup, the one in the dash is reading correct temperature, but the one that is in the overhead console isn’t working and I think that I might have a wiring problem, because I bought and installed a new circuit board that I got from a ford dealership that had gone out of business, and the compass is working great, but the temperature gauge is reading a -40 degrees, and everything that I can find to read on the subject is telling me that it’s not connected to the ambient temperature sensor, that’s the only reason I’ve been able to find that would be indicative of the issues that I’ve been having. So that’s why I am looking for a schematic or a diagram of the wiring for my 2002 Ford F-150 Harley-Davidson pickup truck. That way I can see the routings of the wiring, and follow them until I can see the problem. So , if anyone can help me find one , I would be very grateful to them. But , thank you for your kind help and your time. Danny
