SOURCE: driver's side door latch wont open door from inside
Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

SOURCE: Front driver door won't open from the inside only
The linkage is probably broken or snapped out of place from inside the door panel.
You'll feel that the handle is much easier to move than the other doors.
If you are confident and able, take the door apart removing the screws and snap pieces and look for the missing linkage. It's usually a snap piece that holds a rod in place on the back of the handle. They break all the time, or dry rot, or jarr out of place. They're easily available at your local auto parts place or even dealership for just a few bucks!
Good luck!

SOURCE: how to adjust handbrake on hyundai excel 95, fix inside front doo
Adjusting the handbrake is easy.Between the two front seats where the cup holders are behind there is a cubby hole. This has a bottom which can be easily prised out.You will see the handbrake adjusters which you just need to tighten.

SOURCE: RANGE ROVER 2004 L322 DRIVER DOOR WONT OPEN FROM
Hi, take the inner door panel off, look around should be a rod that goes from the outside handle to the door latch mechanism, its either broken or unhooked.
This is how i solved a similar problem.
When I removed the door panel and looked inside I was able to see the small rod that attaches to the outside handle was not connected. I tried to snap it back in but it wouldn't stay so I pulled the rod over where I could see that the small plastic part on the end of the rod that holds it in place had one side snapped off. Should be easy to fix once I locate the part. Just did this today and haven't looked for the part yet.
