Reset anti thief on a 2012 hyundai santa fa. How do you fix it.

bosch or NGK mag wires are best.
plugs any you want , if car short miles car, every year go cheap plugs , if hard to reach go best plugs.
I like NGK the best, but there are other good brands.

There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote. Try a locksmith before the dealership, they are usually 50% the cost.

There is a piece inside that is prone to breaking. It makes the starter and flywheel connect

It sounds like the anti-theft needs resetting. Number one tip when changing batteries is to maintain power using a battery charger or even a couple of long wires to the battery and battery connector as it is swapped out.

Below is the diagram you will need to replace the belt. The diagram is for a 6cyl. 2.7 engine (most common for that year). Once the tensioner pulley is loose, route the new belt as diagrammed and while applying pressure, tighten the tensioner pulley.

It is located in a canister on the top right side of the engine. remove the plastic engine cover on the top of the engine and you will see it. The cover is held on by two screws and four acorn nuts.
