Inspection 1. Look for loose connections, sharp bends or damage to the fuel vapor lines. 2. Look for distortion, cracks or fuel leakage. 3. After removing the EVAP canister, inspect for cracks or damage.

its sitting right up front right side easy to replace star scewdriver and vice grips or pliers to remove plastic cover and start work

Although I recommend you buy a Haynes service manual for your Dodge, I think you will find the canister attached to the firewall or one of the fender wells. Most of them look a lot like an overgrown spam can and it will have two connections on it.
