It may be worth it to buy a cheap remanufactured compressor to use the clutch off of it. I've purchased cheap remanufactured stuff to strip it down for parts that I cant find individually.

Hello Debra Munro,
I am surprised NOT 2B finding "clutches" as a separate component... (sadly).
I would look to a Auto-Wrecker/Junk Yard before going to
an ENTIRE PUMP replacement (clutches are INDEED
as problematic as any other expendable part) ...

SOURCE: where is the oil filter
ok here goes
Since the engine air filter is pretty straight-forward I'll assume you're talking about the cabin air filter. I have a 2005 and assume it's the same for your 2003 so try looking behind the glove compartment. You should be able to get behind it by opening it and gently bending the plastic part that catches when it is all the way open so that it passes the catch. It will then swing the rest of the way down (you may want to remove the contents first) so that you can access the door to the filter.
The oil filter is located under the vehicle and unscrews from the oil pan.

that is what duct tape is for....Just kidding, sounds like something came loose or bent. Have you investigated those options?

it may be the sensor playing up. the best thing to do is get someone to check it with a scantool. your local toyota dealership should have one.
