Ok what I want you to do first is go to rockauto.Com and look up your vehicle and then the part in fuel/air so you can see what it looks like, then itshould be located in front of your right rear wheel attached to the frame it has duck bill clips that you lightly push on to get the m to release and pull the clip out without breaking it unless you have new ones that came with the new filter on some you will also need a fuel line release tool check first before you try if you see 2 clips 1on each side of the filter then your ok if not stop and get the release tool otherwise you will not be able to get it out and if you screw up the fittings you will have to go to the dealer for a new line so you can get around the dealer with local parts guys but your car will be stuck until you can fix what you broke also spray theses fittings with liquid wrench to loosen up the fittings o ring seals ok good luck and pistols back if needed stephen

Yes it is the tool for fuel lines and ac lines. Your local autoparts store should have them, they are universal. You need to use the small end for the fuel filter.

Are you sure that you need to replace the pump? I drive a 54 plate mk2 1.6 zetec that wouldn't always start and I was told it was the fuel pump in the tank but because the fault was intermitant I didn't have it fitted and found out that the car didn't start because the fuel lift pump wasn't priming the system before starting. I found that there was a faulty connection on the relay for the pump that is in the compartment under the glove compartment.

Follow the upper radiator hose from radiator to the engine where it connects to the engine thermostat will sit under that housing held on by two small bolt's.Hope this was very helpful,good luck.
