SOURCE: buick regal 92 3.8L Horrible fuel mileage

Sounds like you might have an oxygen sensor problem. Your catalytic converter(s) maybe defective or dirty. That in turn can dirty up the oxygen sensor. A defective oxygen sensor will send faulty info to the computer, interpreting the fumes as cold (even when the engine warms up). That causes the computer to adjust the fuel mixture to very rich, giving you poor gas mileage and the fuel smell. Hope it helps.

I have a 2000 buick regal gse it has a 3.8 l engine with a supercharger Im trying to drain the radiator to flush it out and add new antifreeze Im having trouble with the pitcock valve any suggestions

Dont bother with the Pep/Pipcock. Simply remove the hose on the radiator near the water pump. Also pull off the thermostat hose and Thermostat (Buy a new one with seal) Flush it with water till clean. (The block and radiator) Those valves can and DO break. Then you'll need a new radiator. After all is said and done. That brass bolt is the air bleeder on the Thermostat neck.

Need to remove and replace the intake manifold gaskets on a 2000 Buick Regal GS, with 3.8 Ltr Supercharged engine. The engine is leaking coolant from below the intake manifold.

it is a great deal of work. The molded gaskets breakdown with time. You'll want to change the two 90 degree elbows as well - they are available from a dealer for a reasonable price. Also, the blower gasket is likely shrunk up and /or blown out. And you might as well replace the valve cover gaskets too as they leak oil as they breakdown with heat and time.

I did all of this on mine. Even as a professional, it took me a good 6 hours.

Buick Regal dying

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.
