You mean it wont even crank at all? When you turn the key on is there anything you hear like when you try and start it doe's the starter try and engage?

Assuming this a automatic did you move the shifter around while trying to start it. Also did you check your fuses? When you try and start the car does the radio and interior lights all go off?

2003 grand am. ran fine, turned it off five minutes and doesn't turn over at all, everything else works, 12 volts, computer reader can find no faults, checked all starter and computer control fuses.

2003 Grand Jeep Cherokee will not start.

Could be a faulty starter or bad connection between the battery and starter. You could use a meter to check for voltage at the starter but it will not show resistance in the cables.

Tilt the steering wheel down all the way and see if it starts, if it does then there is a main power wire loose in the steering columb. Thats all which comes to my mind at this time.

When you go to start the car it just wants to keep turning over so i pump the gas pedal and it will start. already replaced plugs and wires, air and fuel filter and fuel pump. car runs fine down the road....

sounds like a bad starter or sylenoid problem. the gas should not have anything to do with starting.
check the throttle cable for any obstructions.
i have seen some cases where the key does not come back in the run position. after you turn it over and it starts, try moving the key back,(like in the run position)(should be just a little nudge).
you will have to take the starter off the car to get it checked. after you get the starter off the car, you can take a pair of jumper cable from the battery to the hot of the starter and the black cable to the ground on the starter. note; hook the starter up first then the battery, for after a second or two, you will have to unhook one of the cables from the battery. after the starter kicks in,does it want to stick ,whinning noise, or sounds ok.

2005 jeep gc wont start. replaced fuel pump, replaced battery, run for two weekes, wont start but it click clicks

will it start with a jump? check battery for full charge, maybe alternator is not charging, check battery connections all the way down to starter, check selonoid by cross jumping terminals to engage starter.

Bad solenoid i would guess. Not making a connection there. Any basic wiring and ignition switch problems should be alleviated by jumping the starter with a screwdriver. I would check the solenoid and starter brushes

My 1997 jeep grand cherokee cuts off while driving or wont crank

If you have the 4.0l inline 6 and you mean buy "cuts off" that the engine stalls at the stop light or refuses to start from time to time...this engine has a well know problem with the crank position sensor, if it is bad or the connection loose or incorrect, you will have this problem
