Is there a way to bypass the a/c compressor with the serpentine belt on a 2002 ford taurus 3.0

The a/c compressor does not work and I think the pulley was not spinning and snapped two belts.

Yes you can buy a bypass pulley at your local parts store or online. It looks like Dorman makes one and its part number 34166. This part number shows to be compatible with your 2003 Taurus.

Usually not, but you can disconnect the electrical plug from the compressor and that will keep it from engaging so it will run free all the time.

2006 FORD TAURUS SEL 3.0 LITER VIN#U AC BYPASS SERPENTINE BELT LENGTH ?

Ford does not specify, they use but 1 belt with or without AC, without AC there is a idler pulley where the AC compressor would go, this is true of all car makes. A company called DORMAN makes these AC bypass pulleys, check with a local NAPA auto parts store, you can also order from Ford most likely..

I have a 2003 3.0 v6 12v ford Taurus what size belt do I need to bypass the a.c. compressor?

belt 82 1/2 " long at parts store --part #5060825 -- fits perfectly to bypass AC on 2003 Taurus
you will need to purchase a serpentine belt for a taurus that isn't equipped with airconditioning, and that will match up just right with the other pulleys

A/c condenser bypass

The AC condenser does not run on a serpentine belt. if you mean the AC compressor, the answer is yes, but there is a special pulley you need to buy to replace the compressor. You can buy it at autozone or online. It is Dorman part number 34166

The A/C in my 2002 ford Taurus SES (about 185,000 miles on it) went out about a month ago. I had the mechanic at the Midas shop in Billings take a super-quick look at my car about 2 weeks ago because there...

if the compressor bearing seized or fell apart than that would cause the belt to break or fall off. You cannot bypass the a/c compressor with a shorter belt. You can either replace the compressor or get a compressor bypass pulley but then you will not have a/c ever again until you install a compressor.
